School Age Program

Quadra Kids

2:30 pm until 5:30 pm,  Monday thru Friday
6 - 11 years

Quadra Kids is a school -age program that runs throughout the school year.     Additional full-days are provided on Professional Development Days as well as throughout Winter and Spring Breaks.

Programming is provided including:
Sports (Ex. Soccer, hockey, badminton, capture-the-flag, etc)
Performing Arts (Music, dance, theatre)
Creative Arts ( painting, sewing, collage, modelling clay) in addition to a multitude of board games, books, construction toys (lego, kinects, building blocks etc.)
& other play enhancing materials.

Community Culture
The program has a strong commitment to supporting the principles of respect, responsibility, and community building through child-led activities. We nurture the ideas of the child and group through supporting their interests and providing a enriching environment. Exploration and learning are sought in long term group projects in which the children come up with an idea and together as a group the project will be created over the course of weeks or months. Past projects have included growing gardens, making a pond, building volcanoes and creating a magical outdoor fairy world.
